Membership Procedure

To become a member of Surat Diamond Association, the applicant must complete the required information on the application form. This includes any additionally required documentation and proof of identity. Upon submission, the SDA committee will review the application and the applicant’s references. In order to qualify for the membership application process, the application form must be completed along with the signatures of two existing members of SDA.

Membership Procedure

  • As an industry association, It has over 5600 plus members, SDA raises business concerns addressed by its members to the State and Central Government.
  • With constant efforts by SDA, no labour union has been formed in the Surat Diamond Industry. SDA addresses all labour related matters in the local diamond industry that require conflict resolution through third party involvement.
  • An SDA membership card is a valid document which helps in obtaining a business VISA and supports in introducing to the overseas market.
  • SDA membership allows all members an opportunity to participate in and receive free invitations of all programs initiated by SDA such as industry seminars, trade fairs, etc.
  • Individual or company members gain enhanced credibility and a sense of belonging on associating with SDA.

Membership Fees

Surat Diamond Association offers two types of memberships to its valued industry players.

Individual Membership:
SDA”s Individual Membership allows all the persons who are associated with the industry to be registered as an individual member The SDA Individual Membership fee is Rs. 5,000 for a lifetime membership (inclusive of GST).
Corporate Membership:
SDA’s Corporate Membership allows a company to be registered as a corporate member. Company directors/partners will become member of Surat Diamond Association and are entitled to receive free invitations for all industry seminars and trade fairs organized by SDA. The SDA Corporate Membership fee is Rs. 10,000 for a lifetime membership (inclusive of GST).
