Green Initiatives: The Tapti Shudhhikaran Abhiyan Initiative(Tapti Cleanliness Campaign) was undertaken to promote and maintain the cleanliness of the river Tapti. Anti-addiction campaigns: SDA organized proactive “Quit smoking/tobacco” campaigns led by motivational speakers to encourage a tobacco-free society. Initiative to eliminate malnutrition in children: “SDA Kuposhan Naboodi Yojna” (Eliminate Malnutrition Program) campaign aims to eradicate malnutrition in children. Through this campaign, SDA members sponsor to finance the needs of children by providing them with basic necessities.
Summary
We also organize events to motivate students to excel in education by awarding them with a generous donation and we make sure that it goes for the right cause. In addition to providing academic knowledge to the community students, SDA arranges special seminars to educate local artisans about diamond technicality and diamond grading in association with The International Gemological Institute (IGI) and Gemological Institute of America (GIA).
